Signals — a preview of what your shop gets inside the merchant dashboard
The public signals is the consumer side of a tool that runs deeper for merchants. Sign in as a merchant and the same engine drops into your dashboard with operator-only context, automation, and data wired in.
- →Same buy / hold / sell ranking applied to YOUR inventory — see your top in-stock buy candidates ranked together with the open market.
- →Restocking radar surfaces cards with rising market activity and stale list prices in your shop, side-by-side.
- →Per-card Claude commentary on the merchant product page explains what's driving each move + when to act.
- →All ranking history is persisted per card, so the model gets delta context on regenerate and you can audit how the read has changed over time.
Buy · Hold · Sell signals
Top 50 candidates per bucket, ranked from JustTCG's per-card trend, volatility, and market-activity stats. Pick a game (and optionally a set or — for Magic — an artist) to scope the ranking. Expand a row for Claude-written commentary on what's driving the signal.
How signals are computed
Ranking is deterministic — no model is run for the table itself. For every card's primary variant we read the statistics JustTCG publishes (30/90d trend slope, percent change, coefficient of variation, market-repricing count, and where the current price sits relative to the 90d range and 1y high/low), normalize each to a 0-1 component, and combine into three weighted scores:
- Buy rewards a rising 30/90d trend, accelerating market activity, room left to grow (price not yet at the 90d high), and bounded volatility.
- Sell rewards a falling trend or a price pinned near the 1y peak, elevated volatility (peaks are risky), and accelerating activity (holders moving).
- Hold rewards a flat trend in both windows, low volatility, and a price sitting in the middle of the 90d range — the steady-Eddie equilibrium pattern.
Each card lands in the bucket where its score is highest, ranked within bucket by that score. Expanding a row triggers a Claude-written explanation of what specifically is driving the signal — the per-row commentary is cached 12h on the server, so a popular card's explanation appears instantly for everyone after the first view. The ranking itself is cached 6h fresh / 24h stale-while-revalidate per (game, set, artist) combination.
Tabs available: buy · hold · sell. This is not investment advice — it's a way to surface where the market is moving.
